John Edwards resigns from the 2008 democratic race just days before the Great Plains Caucus State Contests, Dave "Mudcat" Saunders, Edwards top rural advisor, states, "I will do everything in my power so Edwards doesn't endorse Hillary Clinton." Russert was hostile to Hillary Clinton, starting with the debates for her first Senate run. Big-head, big-mouth Russert pontificated from his anchor chair that Hillary had to wihdraw from the presidential race months ago. It was not his place to say she had no chance.
If what you say is true, then I am saddened even more that he didn't go out as truthful as everyone is making him out to be.
